I have been working as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist for over two decades both in Australia and overseas.
Prior to my appointment at Monash Health, I worked for over ten years at the Royal Women’s Hospital Melbourne performing duties both as an Obs & Gyn consultant, along with a short spell as the Director of Emergency Services. Working in two of the most renowned maternity care providers in Australia, I had the opportunity to manage a large number of low risk as well as complex, obstetric and gynaecological patients.
In addition to my time at the Royal Women’s Hospital and now working at Monash Health, I am exposed to a very diverse patient population, with both hospitals providing care to women who have migrated from around 200 countries to call Australia home. This invaluable experience has given me a strong appreciation for providing culturally appropriate care to this very diverse community.
